I watched the VP of Disney interviewed on "Larry King Live". Larry asked him if Narnia was a Christian analogy. The VP said, "No it´s not. C. S. Lewis also said it was NOT a Christian analogy. We did not produce it as such or with that intent."
That says a lot Kathy. I could also say "MUCH" but instead I will recommend an excellent web-page which will do this subject much more justice than I ever could......

When Disney AND C.S.Lewis deny that it was based on a Christian theme, WHY are PASTORS & Television Ministries promoting this movie as having ANYTHING to do with Jesus????? C. S. Lewis´ works are based on Roman & Greek mythology-- NOT on Jesus or the Word of God !!!
It causes me MUCH consternation that people professing to be followers of the Lord Jesus Christ are going to see Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings (by Tolkien who was C. S. Lewis´ insperation) which are completely demonic to the core.
The Lord has brought both my husband and I a very long way as far as what He will NOT allow us to watch on television or at the movies and has thankfully given us "the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledtge of Him" so that we can become all that he needs us to be in this dark and dying world. Once you start operating in the ´gift of discerning of spirits´ and once your eyes have been opened to the danger, the deception and the demonic attack that is coming through those channels you can never participate in those things again.
"WE" are told to be the salt and the light in this world and we are told to "lift up the name of JESUS, and HE will draw all men to Himself". It is very simple, very basic and very effective. WE DO NOT NEED Hollywood´s assistance in any way.
