A: Hi Brittany:
God forgives you as MANY TIMES AS WE COME to ask forgiveness. We just have to be careful that we are not taking advantage of His grace & mercy as a license to keep living in sin. Because that becomes a totally different situation which I could preach a sermon on. Our hearts then become hardened and we become stiff-necked and rebellious (as did the children of Israel so many times) and eventually we stray totally away from God and the things of God.
God knows our hearts. He knows if we are struggling with something or if our attitude is -- ´Oh well, God will continue to forgive me so I´ll just continue to be this way´ That is dangerous territory!
As long as we are striving to be more like Christ each day and trying to live in obedience to Him and live in a holy, Godly way, He will continue to forgive us again and again and again.
