Submit your own questionBack Q: I recently moved from Florida to Texas. There are many different nationalities here. It seems any chinese/japanese restaurant or nail salon I visit, there are Buddhas tucked away here and there. Aren´t we supposed to do more than just "not show our support by not visiting there?". There are also many from India and some practice a religion called Sikhism. I know God brought me here for a reason. In the bible times they had many different idols. How did they make a stand for Jesus. How can we (or I) witness to the employees of these establishments. The phrase comes to mind, evil flourishes when good men (or Christians) do nothing. I want to add walk to my talk.

A: Hi Sandra:
Look at these situations as ´Golden Opportunities´. They will not come into our churches so we have to go where they are. Since you cannot go to foreign lands to bring the gospel to those in darkness, God has brought them ´to´ you! Use every opportunity to ´shine in the midst of darkness´ and to tell of and demonstrate the love of the ´One True & Only God´ to them.
The Holy Spirit will give you the words if you ask Him or you can use books (I gave my autobiography to every nail person & hairdresser that I´ve ever had and also to waitresses & even people in elevators. The possibilities are endless) You can print out my articles and pass them along. You can give them tracts. If there is a very large tip in the middle of the tract they are more apt to pay attention to the content.
Always pray against the spirits that are there BEFORE you go into these establishments and cover yourself in the blood of Jesus and do NOT take any objects into your home from these establishements.
And remember, ´the harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few´.
